Ipod: The Shins ~ New Slang

A breather

After a month hiatus, school resumed again today. And already I am bogged down to my ears in work. I only had one class today, but I'm enrolled in another class where there are no formal lectures, but rather everything is given online. This makes things rather challenging as you have to view lectures at your own leisure and turn in assignments under the professor's deadline without the constant reminders in class.

I haven't gotten to the post about Scandinavia, but I promise the pictures and posting will be up soon. I actually have a draft that I wrote about two weeks ago, but just never finished. I just got back from a blitz tour of Washington DC where I got to hang out with politicians and the likes of Andrew Martin and Bowman. It was a nice excursion into the world of inebriation before another exhausting semester. Also got to hang out w/the cousins and crash a 7 year old cousin's birthday. Here are some raucous DC pictures....

Anyways, gotta get back to work. As mentioned, the real post will be up soon. Word on the street is that this guy will be in town this weekend.

Annihiliated, but alive

Quick post. Back in Stockholm after a brief trip to Oslo. I am certain Oslo is where I want to spend the rest of my life (which I will get into at a later post). Well maybe not the rest of my life, but Kee Won and I have given serious consideration to moving out there for a year or two. In the last 4-5 days, I have slept approximately 8 hours. Other notes: met some cool people in Copenhagen, partied like rockstars on New Years and got hit by fireworks, skied the most beautiful slopes in Norway, and wrapping up the trip. A further post will detail the mayhem.
